Mention limits
All paid plans include unlimited mentions. A "mention" is a single post or comment that one of your scouts finds and processes.
Per-scout daily limits
When creating or editing a scout, you can set a daily mention limit to cap how many mentions that scout collects per day. This is useful if you're monitoring high-volume keywords and want to control the volume of results flowing into your feed.
How mentions are counted
Every post that your scouts find counts as one mention. This includes posts that are later filtered out by AI filters or negative keywords — the mention is counted when it's found, not when it appears in your feed.
Checking your usage
You can see your mention usage in two places:
- Billing page — Shows your current month's mention count
- Feed — Shows your current month mention count
You can also view mention counts per scout to see which scouts are finding the most mentions.
Tips
- Monitor high-volume scouts — If one scout is generating too many results, consider narrowing its keywords, adding more specific AI filters, or setting a daily limit on that scout.
- Pause scouts you're not actively using — Paused scouts don't consume resources.
- Use daily limits for noisy scouts — If a scout finds hundreds of posts per day but you only need the top results, set a daily limit and combine it with AI filtering to surface the most relevant ones.
